Working in IT-business for 10 years as programmer, project manager and analyst I’ve faced a lot of projects in offshore software development. During the last 4 years as a large development company CTO, I reviewed 5-10 projects per day. Of course not all of them took close attention and even fewer evolved to actual development, but I’ve got a really impressive gallery of people, problems and technologies.
In my opinion, freelance (and offshore freelance in particular) could take much greater role in software development than it have now. The purpose of this blog is to cover the most frequent problems and show the way to their solution. Of course, I’m also ready to provide deeper consultant services for any particular project.
